E-Vidhya is a large scale, digital literacy mission, project of Rotary District 3233 and envisioned under the inspirational leadership of Rtn. Mr. Mahaveer Bothra ji and team.

To bridge the digital divide in institutions serving the underprivileged students

Roll out 1000+ premium interactive flat panels on 1000 digital classrooms across 50+ institutions serving underprivileged students. Train the teachers to leverage this technology to transform the teaching and learning experience for students

Need for E-Vidhya

Some challenges in delivering quality education for the underprivileged students are mentioned below.

Poor infrastructure (digital and physical)

Almost 66% of the schools do not have internet and digital devices for teaching.

Low motivation levels of students

Secondary school dropout rate is at 12.6%. Enrolment declined by 0.5 million students in govt. aided institutions over time.

Poor engagement level of students - cause of concern

80% of the teachers are concerned about student engagement level in classroom. 50% of the students reported they are not engaged in what they learn in school.

Traditional teaching methods - monotonous, less impactful!
